A visual experiment on famous Japanese poet, Issa’s haiku, “the year’s first rain, my grass roof’s first leak”.
Each page is treated as a new canvas
to reinterpret the haiku from a different perspective through expressive typography, geometric shapes and hand-made visuals. The result is a book that offers a space for imaginative play.
